Our Story
Élevé was born from a shared conviction: real estate should be about people, not just properties.
When Chérie went through her own home buying journey, she witnessed firsthand how clients were often treated as transactions rather than individuals navigating one of life's most significant decisions. She knew there had to be a better way—one grounded in compassion, education, and genuine care.
Sir Ashley's path to real estate began in an unlikely place: working on the lawsuit against Countrywide and Bank of America during the 2008 financial crisis. As a lawyer handling closings and foreclosure advocacy, and later as a real estate investor, he developed a deep understanding of the complexities of real estate from every angle—legal, financial, and practical.
When we joined forces three years ago, they discovered their experiences were perfectly complementary. Chérie's background in mortgages and passion for first-time homebuyers combined with Sir Ashley's expertise in investment properties, new construction, and relocation created something powerful: a team that could guide clients through virtually any real estate situation with confidence and care.
Together, they founded Élevé and The Charlotte Real—not just as a business, but as a mission to elevate the real estate experience in the Greater Charlotte area. Having called Charlotte home for many years, they've witnessed the city's incredible transformation firsthand and understand what makes each neighborhood unique.
