We want everyone to be able to read, search, and use The Charlotte Real. We design and test the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

• Text and controls meet AA color contrast, and every interactive element has a visible keyboard focus.
• The menu, search, filters, and forms work with a keyboard and screen readers.
• Images have descriptive alternative text, and videos load only when you choose to play them.
• Pages respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
